Lisa Schureman is an artisan who designs and creates beautiful handcrafted
jewelry and gift items. The name of her business, That Old Blue House,
reflects the spirit of her art.

"My idea to design handcrafted jewelry that features vintage textiles and
ephemera came from my love of antiques and stained glass. |

After graduating college with a Fashion Merchandising degree, I took my first
stained glass class. Shortly thereafter I married and with the birth of my first
child I became a stay-at-home mom. I pursued my hobby of working with stained
glass, and meshed my love of antique postcards and vintage textiles into That
Old Blue House.
That was 10 years ago. Today my art has evolved, but it is still grounded in my
love and desire to preserve a little bit of the past, whether its old photos,
fabric or cards, in heirloom quality pieces of jewelry. And yes, I do live in an
old blue house."
