The brainchild of Alice and Bob Bauer, Keeping the Spirit serves as a wholesale business, promoting TOP-quality, American-made products to wholesale buyers, nationwide. Our artists strive to maintain a level of professionalism in their work, while keeping their prices competitive in today's market.

Alice Bauer's experience is truly at the heart of this endeavor. She owned and operated a successful folk art shop in Naperville, Illinois for eighteen years. In 1989, Alice became a dealer/ distributor for Christopher Radko. She quickly became a "Rising Star", a status based on exemplary service and selection provided to customers year-round. Through Radko, Alice traveled to Europe, hosted black tie luncheons and earned a solid reputation in the industry.

Over the years Alice has developed both a "faithful" following and a group of talented and reliable artists who provide treasures to shops, designers and galleries across the country.
